Car Maintenance

Owning and maintaining a car can be one of your the more stressful and expensive costs. This becomes significantly increased when you have auto body damage or mechanical issues. Because of this it is important that you keep up on car maintenance to prevent large and expensive repairs. We are going to give you several tips to help you keep your car on the road and your money in your wallet.

Car Maintenance Tips

  • Take your car in for regularly scheduled maintenance. If you are only bringing your car into the auto shop when there is an issue, you are too late. By having your car regularly checked you can catch issues before they become major problems
  • Keep a log of when you have your car serviced. This will help you keep to a normal schedule as well as remind you what past issues you have had and when they were fixed.
When at the Auto Shop be sure to have the mechanic:
  • Check all of your fluids, ranging from the oil, transmission, power steering, and brake
  • Have your tires checked and rotated if needed
  • Check your brakes, including the lines, rotors, and pads
  • Check all of your filters to keep your car running at peak performance
